This is a view from the property looking to the east. They cleared the land and have horses. I took the picture on top after hiking about 1/4 mile or so north of the entrance gate to the property.

Canning is what folks use to do many years ago to store up their seasonal veggies. Canning can go into a lot more than just canning jams, jellies and veggies. We have gotten into canning complete meals that include meat. It’s a really cool way to save a lot of money for your family. You can buy in bulk when you find a good sale and the canning allows you store your food without refrigeration. It’s also great for the family on the go, all you need to do is “Heat and Eat”. Anyway, I think it’s a great way to save money and have fun in the process. I also enjoy taking all of the photographs to document the process.
